About India in Numbers

India in Numbers

I built India in Numbers as a public-good project so official economic data feels useful to anyone, not just economists.

What this project aims to do

Track inflation, jobs, industry, energy, and growth releases from MoSPI/eSankhyiki, then turn them into plain-language explainers with interactive charts and clear sourcing.

How I build it

Open-source ingestion scripts pull datasets straight from the official APIs, Drizzle keeps them organized, and the UI focuses on readable layouts you can trust.

Why it matters

When people understand the numbers behind daily life, conversations about policy, jobs, or prices get calmer and more evidence-based. I want India's data to feel readable in every language.
